UNIQUE BOUTIQUES

Leisure travel is ever evolving, and today’s travelers are seeking exceptional stays that truly reflect the history and emotion of their destination. Nowhere is that more attainable than Palm Springs, a resort town that celebrates its architecture like no other.

Operating four boutique hotels in Palm Springs, Town and Desert was born from the desire to present historic architectural design with all the modern comforts that make for an extraordinary guest experience.

Designed and built by Herbert Burns in 1947, this Class 1 Historic Site is for the purist of Mid-Century Modern aficionados, lovingly restored and loyally maintained. Sweeping mountain views and a saltwater pool highlight this charming time capsule of quintessential Palm Springs architecture.

Stardate 1955. A new Herbert Burns designed hotel, Orbit In, lands in Palm Springs with the perfect blend of futuristic design and whimsical Space Age décor. Add just a hint of Tiki, a poolside boomerang bar, playful shade structures and a secluded spa… and Orbit In is truly out of this world.

Rounding out our trio of Herbert Burns designed mid-century hotels, Desert Hills debuted in 1956. Views of the San Jacinto Mountains that are so close it has redefined mountain view to mountain side. Spacious grounds and all the nostalgia from a timeless era of simplicity and comfort.

At the gateway to the Uptown Design District, Mahala is situated on N Palm Canyon Drive among the area’s newest shops, bars and restaurants. Meticulously designed with the guest in mind, Mahala combines minimalist modern features with funky bohemian details and custom-made furniture.
