UNIQUE BOUTIQUES

Leisure travel is ever evolving, and today's travelers are seeking exceptional stays that truly reflect the history and emotion of their destination. Nowhere is that more attainable than Palm Springs, a resort town that celebrates its architecture like no other.

Town and Desert was born from the desire to present historic architectural design with all the modern comforts that make for an extraordinary guest experience.

Designed and built by Herbert Burns in 1947, this Class 1 Historic Site is for the purist of Mid-Century Modern aficionados, lovingly restored and loyally maintained. Sweeping mountain views and a saltwater pool highlight this charming time capsule of quintessential Palm Springs architecture.

Stardate 1955. A new Herbert Burns designed hotel, Orbit In, lands in Palm Springs with the perfect blend of futuristic design and whimsical Space Age décor. Add just a hint of Tiki, a poolside boomerang bar, playful shade structures and a secluded spa… and Orbit In is truly out of this world.

Debuting in 1956, Desert Hills, is the largest of our Herbert Burns collection. Featuring spacious rooms, sprawling grounds and towering mountain views, Desert Hills was a favorite of legendary entertainer Doris Day and delivers all the nostalgia from a timeless era of simplicity and comfort.

Rounding out our quartet of Herbert Burns designed Mid-Century hotels, Desert Riviera first welcomed guests in 1951. A hidden jewel with a dramatic desert backdrop unveils lush grounds, classic lines, and a friendly atmosphere that captures the ease and optimism of authentic Mid-Century design.

Originally built in 1959 and completely reimagined in 2023, Azure Sky features luxurious apartment style studios and suites, private patios, and a new pool and spa. Spread over a massive double sized lot, Azure Sky offers unmatched space to relax and unwind under the Palm Springs sun and stars.

A beloved Palm Springs classic, Hotel California's four buildings unite to create a harmonious Spanish Revival compound that is exceptionally welcoming, always relaxing, and effortlessly charismatic. Enjoy mountain views, swaying palms, and a sense of timeless tranquility around every corner.

A secluded enclave two blocks from Downtown Palm Springs, Coyote Inn is an intimate, Spanish-style sanctuary with just seven suites. Quiet and relaxed with a sun-filled courtyard featuring a sparkling pool, hot tub, fountains and a fire pit offering the perfect combination of privacy and charm.

At the gateway to the Uptown Design District, Mahala is conveniently situated on Palm Canyon Drive among the area's newest shops, bars and restaurants. Meticulously designed with the guest in mind, Mahala combines minimalist modern features with funky bohemian details and custom-made furniture.
